ABOUT EREZ

In the early morning hours of October 7, 2023, Erez Eshel raced to Gaza Envelope—and for ninety-six hours straight—saved as many lives as he could. THE PROPHET tells the story of his life before that fateful day, and since.

Today, Eshel serves as a Colonel in the Israel Defense Forces, where he designs advanced leadership and strategy curricula for senior command, including Brigadier Generals. He also served as Vice Deputy Director of the Israel Ministry of Education.

Eshel is the founder of Ein-Prat Academies for Leadership, Israel's most influential pre-military education network with more than 100 locations worldwide. He is the founder and chairman of One Heart, an international civilian aid organization mobilizing rapid humanitarian response in times of crisis.

Recognized as Israel's foremost living authority on philosophy and political science, Eshel brings particular depth to the works of Baruch Spinoza and Niccolo Machiavelli, as well as to Jewish thought, ethics, and the foundations of civic leadership.
